Strong emotional images –
strong graphics
The line as a poetic device
Strong graphics and abstract forms are created with the line. My aim is to create art that is abstract, but also expressive and emotional. I seek to express the inner movement of strength and lightness, energy and purity. The strongest graphics are created when I don’t think about what I’m doing, but let the feeling, the movement and the line run free.
The relationship between feeling, instinct and body movements

Feeling instead of thinking
On my way to expressing feelings in my pictures, I have always been fascinated and accompanied by the question of my own inner self and the influence from outside.
Flow and influence
The direct approach and the immediate transfer of a feeling, an emotion to a medium. The feeling that the movement triggers when drawing, via my hand to the brush that brings the ink, the acrylic to the page, the raw stroke is the purest form of realization for me.

It can’t be wrong not to know how the line will develop and in which direction it will go.

The difficulty lies in detaching oneself, finding a certain emptiness, switching off thoughts and thinking as far as possible. To find the point within yourself that connects the feeling with the emptiness and merges into movement.
Let go – surrender only to the feeling and the resulting movement

When the mind wakes up – one movement too many, one thought too many – the image, the feeling, the statement and the graphic result can be blurred.
The aim is to graphically convey this feeling of immediacy to the viewer, thus opening up the emotional dialog and the original connection with the image.
The act itself is the highlight for me, the resulting image is the result.

Biography

I was born in Romania in 1973 and moved to Germany with my family at the age of eight. My artistic career began as a child with drawing, followed by painting and photography as further forms of expression when I was a teenager. After leaving school, I attended a free art school, which resulted in the desire to study art. Although I received enthusiasm and praise for my artwork, I subsequently decided to study graphics and visual communication at the Schwäbisch Gmünd University of Art and Design. Even while working as a designer, artistic activity remained an essential part of my expression. My recurring urge to express myself in an art form led to repeated, intensive artistic phases, which can be traced back to my cultural background, my desire for understanding and communication as well as the expression of my inner feelings.
